Civic engagement honors for Fletcher students

Mid-May is a time for a lot of celebrations in these parts, beyond just the (relatively) permanent arrival of beautiful spring weather. The Honos Civicus Society of Tufts’ Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life announces its annual awardees around this time each year, and it’s always such a pleasure to see a healthy crop of Fletcher students included in the list. Fifteen Fletcher students are among this year’s celebrants, and it’s a very familiar list of names to anyone who’s spent considerable time in our community. Our student community is an active and conscientious bunch across the board, but these students have shown an extraordinary level of commitment to public service and civic engagement during their time at Fletcher.
