Fletcher students honored for civic engagement

The past week has been focused on honoring and celebrating our students, and here’s another little tidbit worth highlighting. Fletcher is proud to count 17 of its students among the recipients of this year’s Honos civicus awards, administered by the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life. Tisch College annually recognizes students who show a particular commitment to civic and community life, and we take it as a collective honor to count so many Fletcher students among this year’s recipients. Work in COVID-19 crisis response was particularly noted this year; among the many civic contributions noted by Tisch College were students’ efforts in organizing a COVID-19 task force and helping the university transition to online learning mid-semester.

While these students have already been feted elsewhere, we’re not worried about too much of a good thing in this space. So congratulations to William, Exequiel, Tashi, Nicholas, Audry, Ella, Samuel, Prayank, Roxani, Joshua, Olivia, Manaved, Hiroki, Hallie, and Kelsey! Thanks for all your good work on behalf of our community.
