a. Creating a New Pathway

The first step to create a new pathway is to define it. The secondary steps involve adding nodes to the pathway.

To add a pathway to the map:

1. On the toolbar, click the Open Pathways Window tool. The Pathways window opens.
2. On the Pathways window toolbar, click the Create new pathway tool. The New Pathway Name dialog box opens.
3. Type a descriptive name for the pathway.
4. Click Add. The pathway is defined and added to the Pathways window.
