c. Connectivity Analysis

Connectivity Analysis is a VUE tool that generates a matrix of connectivity relationships between nodes. The output appears in a temporary text file that can be saved for later use or import into statistical software that can interpret and analyze this data. The presence or absence of a link between two nodes is represented by a 1 or 0. Metadata (keywords) defined for nodes by VUE authors are also exported.

You can create the analysis from an active map or a map stored locally.

To generate a Connectivity Analysis:

  1. From the menu bar, select Analysis > Connectivity. The Connectivity window opens.
  2. Click Generate. A temporary text document is created.
  3. Save the text file.
