VUE’s user interface extends the idea of concept mapping to include not only Web content and local files, but remote digital data. To access remote digital data using the VUE interface, resources are added to the Content window to create a direct connection to repositories and enterprise search engines. Adding remote files from the Tufts Digital Library to nodes is one example of this functionality.
VUE’s Content Resources window allows you to access individual databases or multiple databases simultaneously.
Customized RSS feeds and access FTP servers can also be installed as resources.
