New student bloggers: introducing Gautier

I’m always excited to introduce readers to new student bloggers. Particularly so this year, as we have some new contributors from some of Fletcher’s more specialized degree programs. Today we’ll meet Gautier, a student in the Master of Arts in Transatlantic Affairs (MATA) program. The MATA is a jointly-awarded degree between Fletcher and the College of Europe based in Belgium, whose students spend time at both institutions as well as in an internship focused on the Transatlantic relationship. On the road

As I know I’ve mentioned before, this “season” is an exciting one as it’s allowed us to start getting back to in-person events that have been off the table the past few years. To wit: I’m in New York City for the early portion of this week, representing Fletcher at Idealist and APSIA events, and conducting some interviews and individual admissions appointments on the ground in NYC. It’s my first real recruitment travel since 2019!

Time to meet this year’s Admissions Graduate Assistants (GAs), readers! Our GAs are a crucial part of our operation each year, providing support in a lot of our communications, event planning, and application processing during the peak of Admissions season. They also are often the first people prospective students will meet or contact, and they’re great sources of information on the Fletcher student experience. We’re thrilled to welcome Chiara, Gabe, and Taehee to our team this year!
